To See How You Feel

Note: Added. Apr. 23, 2009.

The Project: Last winter, between November 11th through December 15th, I drew how I felt on each day. I responded to my inner voice and expressed in a very personal and maybe poetic and meaningful way. Each word, or rather feeling, moved me every day and led me to another. The surprising moment came when a series of feelings became a narrative by itself, and the feeling of the words started breathing and began corresponding with each other as if they were given life. They still continue to grow.

What’s the reward? I’ll know when someone responds to see how I feel. I’d love to hear how you feel. toseehowyoufeel(at)beautifooltype.com

Rick Valicenti responds: These are beautiful, meaningful, and obviously a source of joy. Be proud of making something so original.

Paul Sych responds: What a wonderful moving narrative…

Ryan Thurlwell responds: They are all fucking awesome!

John Pobojewski responds: So beautiful, as always! It makes me feel warm and doughy, like I just ate a tasty donut.

Bud Rodecker responds: They seem to just happen serendipitously, as if those forms they’re meant to be joined that way.
